Hey kids!

It's International Education Week at Butte college!  Actually, it was last semester.  One of the projects in super graphics last semester was to design a banner for it.  Almost everyone in the class hated this project.  Dylan and I were in the midst of putting up my banner a couple of weeks ago, when we were kindly informed by Daniel that The Man wanted all old banners pulled down.

maybe he'd have more time for bullying if he weren't so busy all the time

Dylan did all the hard work.  Less of an "instructor" more of a "student wrangler. "

"you better get some good shots of that thing"

The Man shut us down

The way he was posing made it seem like he took more, but the two above are the only ones I can confirm as Dylan shots.

I showed my shots to my uncle chopper, master picture takerer.  He didn't seem too impressed.

He always manages to hide that left hand...

end of semester results

here's some shit I did in my typography class this semester

this was a shirt idea I had, but I couldn't really think of a good design to accompany it.

for a project where we had to make something using only one letter

typographer profile. came up with this in a few hours after deciding to change from david carson. originally I had done david ray carson, but then changed to carlos segura when I was informed that it had to be a "famous" typographer.

I was under the impression that we had to take a quote and design it into our typographer profile. apparently this was actually another project entirely. so I whipped this up in...I can't remember how long, but it wasn't more than an hour or two probably.

another shirt design I made. I was kinda happy this one (I stole the shribblydoos from some free vector designs my instructor had lying around for us to use) but, of course when I tried to print the printer decided to shit itself to death. so I put it on a mug instead, and I'm gonna give it to this guy:

illustrator; a tool for the untalented.

well, I guess I'm starting some kinda art blog thing. this is my first post, so I guess I should say that no one will read this shit.

here's some arts I made which, if your actually here, is probably why you came.

this is a door wrap I made in illustrator for a school project. we had to do it in the style of another artist, and I chose shepard fairey. if your white, that's tupac in the image, with a poem by him, "The Rose That Grew From a Crack in the Concrete" in the background.

thas a campaign I did for school a couple semesters ago; just decided I was gonna run my boy chuck boston for President. vote boston '08 son!
